As an early public domain software program with source code available,[14] SPICE was widely distributed and used. Its ubiquity became such that "to SPICE a circuit" remains synonymous with circuit simulation.[15] SPICE source code was from the beginning distributed by UC Berkeley for a nominal charge (to cover the cost of magnetic tape). The license originally included distribution restrictions for countries not considered friendly to the US, but the source code is currently covered by the BSD license.
Vendors and various free software projects have added schematic capture front-ends to SPICE, allowing a schematic diagram of the circuit to be drawn and the netlist to be automatically generated. Also, graphical user interfaces were added for selecting the simulations to be done and manipulating the voltage and current output vectors. In addition, very capable graphing utilities have been added to see waveforms and graphs of parametric dependencies. Several free versions of these extended programs are available, some as introductory limited packages, and some without restrictions.
Enter where your computer name should be instead of Computer_Name. Click OK19. From the start menu, launch hspui P-2019.06-SP1-1, select the open option from the file list and go to C:\synopsys\Hspice_P-2019.06-SP1-1\Demo\Go to hspice\bjt and select the bjtbeta file. sp and open it, click on simulate and then select the option to edit log file from the edit menu. It is observed that a warning is displayed not to connect to the license server. Close the program20. From the start menu, search for and open Services. Find Synopsys service, right click on it and click properties, set startup type option to automatic, and on recovery tab change the value in Reset Failed After count to 1000 and click Apply. Go back to the General tab and click Stop and OK21. Go to C:\synopsys\SCL\2018.06-SP1\win32\bin and open lmtools.exe. Go to the Start/Stop/Replay tab, check the Shut Down Server option, then click on Stop Server. Wait for the task to finish, then click on start server and then on re-read license file and closelmtools 22. Go to C:\synopsys\SCL\2018.06-SP1, open the Synopsys.dat file with notepad and say delete the file located (maybe) line 8 (DAEMON snpslmd C:\synopsys\SCL\201806-SP1\win32\bin\ snpslmd.exe) (make sure there is no blank line). Save and close the file23. Go to C:\synopsys\SCL\2018.06-SP1\win32\bin and open lmtools.exe. Go to the Start/Stop/Replay tab, check the Shut Down Server option, then click on Stop Server. Wait for the job to finish. Then click Start Server
26. Now run hspui P-2019.06-SP1-1 again from start menu, select open option from file list and go to C:\synopsys\Hspice_P-2019.06-SP1-1\Demo\hspice\bjt Go and select bjtgm file .sp and open it, click Simulate and then select the Edit Log File option from the Edit menu. It can be seen that the simulation has been run and at the end of the file it says ***** job finish ذكر

Synopsys HSPICE is a very powerful software in the field of electronic circuit simulation and has up-to-date algorithms for simulating and analyzing MOS components. Synopsys HSPICE is used to analyze basic electronic circuits such as transistors and does not involve electronic components such as microcontrollers. This software has a lot of power in simulating and correcting its output data in testing and analyzing various electronic circuits. Synopsys HSPICE software is an accurate and valid simulator for simulating and analyzing different parts of the circuit, managing the power consumption of its components, testing the performance of elements and creating drawings and design documents.

CppSim/VppSim is free for academic and commercial use, and the install file includes all files necessary to run CppSim/VppSim along with supporting programs such as NGspice and the PLL Design Assistant. However, it is also useful to separately install Python, Octave, or Matlab in order to improve post-processing capability on the simulation results of CppSim/VppSim. No warranty or support is provided with this software.
Advanced Design System is a powerful electronic design automation software system. It offers complete design integration to designers of products such as cellular and portable phones, pagers, wireless networks, and radar and satellite communications systems.
OptiSystem is an innovative, rapidly evolving, and powerful software design tool that enables users to plan, test, and simulate almost every type of optical link in the physical layer of a broad spectrum of optical networks from LAN, SAN, MAN to ultra-long-haul.
The VLSI systems are a collection of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7 and RHEL 8 systems that host the Linux Engineering Software suite. The VLSI systems use the Environment Modules aka module subsystem to manage the use of various tools. To keep up with news on these software offerings, join our Office 365 Linux Engineering Software Group (UTK/Tennessee email addresses only).
To load a module, run module load ModuleName, This will set up your environment to properly run the selected software. For example, runningmodule load IC618 sets up your environment to run Cadence Virtuoso IC 6.1.8:
ASUS AI Overclocking is an intelligent utility that helps you get the most out of your build by automatically profiling your CPU and cooling system to predict optimal voltage and frequency settings. Accessible via the AI Suite software in Windows or directly through the UEFI, the intuitive AI Overclocking user interface enables users of all levels. A range of customizable settings are available for seasoned overclockers, and an auto-tuning option is available for beginners.
The algorithm analyzes your CPU and cooling system, and based on what it finds, predicts optimal settings. The software then uses these settings to automatically guide the clocking process, balancing frequency and voltage.
Under stable system loads, the software then automatically lowers fan* speed to the optimal setting, decreasing fan noise without compromising performance. *Fans need to be connected to the following headers for AI Cooling control: CPU_FAN / CPU_OPT / CHA_FAN / M.2_FAN / H_AMP / RAD_FAN
MemTest 86 This memory testing software is pre-installed into the UEFI BIOS and lets you pinpoint memory issues with just one click, without the need for a USB stick or going into the OS. It stores the memory report in the BIOS archives for reference.
Two addressable Gen 2 RGB headers are capable of detecting the number of LEDs on second-gen addressable RGB devices, allowing the software to automatically tailor lighting effects to specific devices. The new headers also offer backward-compatibility with existing Aura RGB gear.

Software License Usage: CEAS OCC manages numerous software packages and licenses, all of which specify varying terms of usage. There are freeware and open source software where use is generally open as needed. Then there are software that are restricted to uses such as instructional only or academic research. There are no licenses available that can be used for commercial purposes. As license terms can change from year to year, please contact OCC if there are any questions regarding compliance with use of the software supported.
The set of software packages selected by the user is kept in a file called .software under his home directory. Generally, a user should not edit .software directly. Instead, he should run the appropriate setup script in /usr/local/setup. The setup script adds the name of the package to .software.
Cadence acquired the Pspice tool which was originally developed by Microsim. Unfortunately it is available on windows only ? but it is quite handy to work with as such. Now, professionally, I tend to have access to #1 and #2 on this list and therefore I do not really use #3 and #4 anymore.
If you want to install just the license server software without the Schrödinger Suite, see Article 1820. If you already have the Schrödinger Suite installed on the license server, you can find the licensing executables in the following platform-specific locations:
If you want to use the Schrödinger software on the same computer as the license server, you need to configure the Schrödinger installation as a client of the server, so that the software will know how to obtain the licenses. See the Knowledge Base articles Where does Schrodinger software search for licenses? and How do I set up access to the license server from a client machine?. 2ff7e9595c
